Seminar for the Norwegian railway directorate

Didier van de Velde and Eduard Röntgen gave on 30 October 2018 an overview of international train service contracting experience in the Netherlands and Great Britain for the Norwegian Railway Directorate.

This was part of a assignment that included mapping international railway contracting experience with respect to incentives, operator freedom, division of responsibility and financial risk, type of tendering process, market conditions and train service.

This overview and seminar formed an input for the further development of bonus-malus rail passenger contract by the Norwegian railway directorate.
