Speech at 2016 Finnish railway conference

The Finnish Transport Agency organised its 9th railway conference “Rata 2016” this 19-20 January 2016 in Turku (Finland). The two-day event included an inaugural seminar, thematic workshops, an exhibition and an evening gathering at the end of the first day. This year’s theme was ensuring rail expertise.

Didier van de Velde (director, inno-V) was asked to give a keynote speech on “Vertical Separation, Competition and Coordination” in the railway sector, following a speech by the Finnish Ministry of Transport, the executive director of the Finnish Transport Agency and the director general of the Finnish Transport Safety Agency.
